Part One Al 1-8 Facing out of the set, partners join inside hands and lead out a double; partners face, set right and left and cast away from partner to lead corners in. A2 1-8 As in Al, leading corner out and partner in, etc. B1 1-2 Head couples lead forward to form lines of four with the side couples (who face partners). 3-4 Lines of four fall back to head positions. 5-8 Corners two-hand turn once round moving into... 9-16 Whole heys for four, ending in original places in the square. B2 1-16 As in B1, with side couples leading forward, etc. Part Two Al 1-8 Partners side into line by the right shoulder, set right and left, and continue forward looping right around partner to face corners. A2 1-8 Corners side into line by the left shoulder, set right and left, and continue forward looping left to original places. B1 1-4 Head couples lead forward; as heads retire, sides lead forward and each turns his back on his partner to face his corner, ending in two lines of four. 5-8 Corners mirror back-to-back, heads passing outside to start, leading into 9-16 Double figures of eight, finishing in square formation. (That is, 2M and 4W cross through the 1s who move outside them, while the other four dancers do Similarly.) B2 1-16 As in B1, with side couples leading forward, etc. Part Three Al 1-8 Partners right hand turn halfway and join hands in a circle of eight, men facing out women in to set to the right and left, 5-8 Neighbors left hand turn once round and right hand turn partner halfway to places. A2 1-8 As in Al, turning corner by the left hand halfway, etc. B1 1-4 Head couples lead forward to form lines of four with the side couples (who face partners). Lines of four fall back to head positions. 5-16 Left hand turn corner (2 bars), head couples right hand star halfway (2 bars), left hand turn with the dancer there (2 bars), heads right hand star halfway (2 bars), left hand turn corner to places (2 bars), and fall back to place (2 bars). B2 1-16 As in B1, with side couples leading forward, etc.
Dave wrote this dance to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the Stockton Folk Dance Club in1993.
