3 couple longways, AB x 3
Tune: Well Done Jack
A 1-2 1M and 3W cast round one dancer to middle place, (2M moving
up and 2W moving down);
3-4 1M and 3W gypsy right halfway.
5-8 Lines of three fall back and come forward:
9-16 Circle left once around plus one more place (ending with 1M
improper at the foot of the set).
B 1-4 All set to opposite and cross over:
5-8 Women face to the right and draw that man, holding both
hands, two places clockwise (ending 1s, 2s improper, 3s);
9-12 2s half-figure eight down while 1s lead down to below the 3s;
13-16 All lead up one place and honor partner.

Ron writes that this dance was first tried out at a dance party in a house called
Cornfields–hence the name. “Heather wrote this lovely, dreamy tune for the dance
and I liked the idea of gleaners gathering up discarded and unwanted dreams.“
A gleaner is a person who gathers small amounts of something, either slowly and carefully, or in a laborious way.
