A1 1-8 Sides face partners and fall back, while heads lead in: dance a Grand square, A2 1-8 Four women dance a grand ladies chain (right hand star in the middle). Make wide left-hand turns with opposite and partner rather than “courtesy” turns. When returning to partner, turn by the left hand 1 1/4 times to face next person around square (men facing ccw, women facing cw, the same direction as in a grand chain). B1 1-8 Wide right hand turn halfway to pass with the one you face (2 bars), then a wide left hand turn with the next, retaining hands to sweep into a promenade hold. 1-8 Promenade with this person (original opposite) most of the way around the set (3 bars). On the final bar, the women cast back one place and men keep moving forward to meet new partners. B2 1-8 All waltz 3/4 of the way around the square with this new person (original corner) to the woman's original home.
