Al 1-4 First man set and turn single right to second woman (who admires) 5-8 Second man the same with first woman A2 1-4 First man two-hand turn second woman 5-8 Open up to pick up first woman with first man's left hand and circle for three once to L, ending facing down with first man in the middle (second Woman on his right, first woman on his left) Bl 1-4 Line of three down the middle with arms raised to form arches 5-8 Turn at bottom to face up, first man left hand under, right hand over to switch women. Line of three dance back to top, man ushering two women to their original places B2 1-4 First man leads all men to weave through women, starting between first and second women 5-8 First man takes fourth woman in promenade hold, others fall in behind and dance up the middle (all now have new partners). Cl 1-8 “Peel off” at the top: first man and new partner to left second man etc to right, third man etc to left fourth man etc to right, skipping. At the bottom, all dance up to men’s own places, skipping. At end of phrase, keep both hands joined with partner to face each other, ready for C2 1-8 “Shuttle figure”, starting with first man moving back to men's side, other 3 couples moving to women’s side. Continue shuttle until first man and partner are at the bottom of the set, others have moved up one place. FINALE Ci 1-4 End couples (1 and 4), two-hand turn with partner once around. 5-8 With immediate neighbors, circle once around to left, C2 1-4 All join hands in a circle once to left, 5-8 All circle back to right and “all in”,
At the end of the third repetition there is a finale (see tune page) A lively, quirky, Surprise dance in honor of Tom Siess 70th birthday celebrations.
