A 1-4 1st diagonals cross set to orbit CW around to home while 2nd diagonals R-shoulder back to back and turn single over R-shoulder into 5-8 2nd diagonals move up or down to orbit CW around to home while 1st diagonals R-shoulder back to back and turn single over R-shoulder B 1-2 Two changes of rights and lefts (R-hand to partner to begin) 3-4 Partners 2-hand turn halfway round and fall back 5-6 Taking inside hands with neighbor, balance toward partner and back 7-8 Partners R-shoulder gypsy once round

Teaching point:
In A, bars 4 and 8 there is a moment at end of orbit/back to back where the turn
single becomes a half gypsy with your neighbor on side (bar 4) or partner across (bar 8). Timing
and being aware of those around you is critical.
In mid January 2008 we had a snowstorm that dropped twelve inches of snow in Ashland (the
biggest accumulation since the 1960s). Southern Oregon University, where we both work, was
closed—oh, darn. We stayed home and wrote this dance.
