A2 1-4 1st wo. & 2nd man set forward R. & L., fall back to place, then back-to-back L. 5-8 1st wo. & 2nd man L-hand turn once round, then 2nd cpl. R-hand turn once round. B 1-2 Ptns. 2-hand turn half round, then fall back away from ptn. (4 + 4 steps). 3-4 Ptns. move forward, then cross R. and turn R. to face (4 + 4 steps). 5-6 Ptns. go forward to meet, turning about R. to stand back to back and clapping own hands once on beat 4, then return to place, turning R. to face and clapping again on the final beat (4 + 4 steps). 7-8 Ptns. facing, R. & L. 3 changes without hands (8 steps).

Note on the title:
In February 1702 Henry Playford advertised perhaps his most unusual publication: A List of the Royall
Navy of England in the year 1702, which gave details, under each ship's name, of when, where and by
whom it was built, and its specifications. Later the same year it was re-issued with an additional
smaller list attached, of the French and Spanish Fleet and Galleons, that were taken or destroy'd at Vigo (See Emperor of the Moon, Altrincham, 2006, p42).
