Level of difficulty: beginner
A1 1-4 All march forward 6 Steps. On bar 4, each couple turns halfway as a couple — the Woman Moving forward, the man moving backward to face clockwise 5-8 All march forward, On bar 8, a1) join hands to form a circle with the woman on the man’s right. A2 1-8 All go forward a double into the center and fall back a double. Repeat, At the end, face partner. Bl 1-8 Partners arm right, then arm left. B2 1-4 Joining right hand with Partner, all balance forward and back. Repeat. 5-8 Passing partner by the right, all move forward to meet a new partner and, with both hands, turn once around to the left. At the end, face counter-clockwise ready to repeat the dance.
In 1610 John Guy, along with 39 colonists, set out from England to create the colony of Cupids. Located on the Avalon Peninsula In Newfoundland, it was the first continuously settled English colony in what is now Canada.
