Music: Breakfast with Coyote by Dave Bartley, 2009

Teaching Point: For A1 and 2, bars 3-4, the turn single is complete to end facing partner and the cast for the 2nd diagonal position is fast-it's really an about face over R-shoulder. If you find this uncomfortable or just prefer, the leader (2nd diagonal position) may instead do a loopier, incomplete turn single that ends facing out to flow directly into the no-hands circle.

Loretta Guarino Reid commissioned us to write a dance for Sherry Kummler. Sherry is a northern California dancer, children's librarian, and wonderful storyteller. Over the past couple of years she has been part of a band, The Coyotes, playing old-time cowboy western music. In the early morning at dance camps, Sherry may be found serving breakfast and serenading sleepy campers. Loretta describes Sherry as zany, warm, generous, and someone who stirs things up in a positive way.
