  B1 1-8  Hey for three on the L-file, 1s with #2L: to begin,
          L-file neighbors pass L- shoulder while #1R crosses
          down to enter hey from bottom;
          on last two bars, #1R crosses to home (and stays
          facing out) while L-file neighbors pass L-shoulder
          to progress
  B2 1-8  Hey for three on the R-file, 1s with #2R: to begin,
          R-file neighbors pass R- shoulder while #1L crosses
          set to enter hey from bottom;
          on last two bars, #1L crosses back to progressed
          place (and curves over R-shoulder to face partner)
          while R-file neighbors pass R-shoulder to progress

Siding in A1 1-4 is side-by-side.

Each #1 who crosses to enter the hey from the bottom does not complete the final loop of the hey back to the bottom; instead, they leave the hey from the middle of the pattern (the crossing point of the figure eight pattern, three-fourths of the way through) to cross back to their own side during the last two bars.
