… First sighting of a Robin

A1  C1 and C2 circle once round, C1 dances down the middle
    (just past C2)

A2  C1 dance behind the C3, up the middle and cast into
    2nd place.(2s dance up on bars 5 & 6)

B1* & B2  Dance to corner and set; always passing right shoulder
    (exceptfirst couple as they begin the figure, they pass left 
    with each other and right to first corner) 
    B2 finishes with C3 in top place improper, C1 in middle proper,
    and C2 at bottom improper.

A3  Circle 6 (L) for bars 1 to 4; then turn single L

A4  Circle 6 (R) finishing C3 and C2 in centre close to partner, 
    C3 facing down and C2 facing up ready to turn single (C3 up 
    and C2 down) while C1 left hand turn once round

C1  W1 with C3 third couple(giving L to W3); M1 with C2 (giving L
    to M2) dance half a hey across the set. C1 finishes in the 
    centre of the dance, W1 above M1 and turn right half round while 
    C2 and C3 set once.

C2  W1 with C2 M1 with C3 left hands across (finish in order C3 C1 C2)
    All turn single R in progressed places.

*Dance to corner and set:

This figure begins with C1 changing places with their first corner (bars 1 & 2). While the first corners pass R with each other and change places with second corner (M2 with M3 and W3 with 2W) the C1 set once (bars 3 & 4), Second corners pass right with each other and then change places with dancer on first corner diagonal (M3 with M1 and W2 with W1) while the first corners set. This pattern continues until third couple is in top place improper, dancing couple in middle place proper and C2 in bottom place improper.
